2/09/10 - The Jones Center's Spring Break Week 2010 will be the week of March 23rd - March 26th. A fun filled week with activities for all ages including the ever popular AETN/PBSKids Day, national touring musical act Splash ‘N Boots, and Disney Cruiseline’s own Ventriloquist, Lynn Trefzger. All Spring Break Week activities are offered at no charge. The pool and ice arena will be open extended hours at a cost of $2 per person. Activities kick off daily at 10am, unless otherwise noted. Mark your calendars today for Spring Break Week - March 23rd through March 26th!
12/02/09 - The Ice Arena and Swimming Pools will be closed for special events starting Friday, December 4, 2009 through Sunday, December 6, 2009. Please feel free to come out and enjoy the Ice Show and support the teams participating in the Swim Meet all weekend.

11/03/09 - The Jones Center in Springdale is embarking on their 2010 gala event, “The Jones Center’s BIG NIGHT with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy” Thursday, January 28, 2010 at The Fayetteville Town Center. John Ervin of Ervin & Co. and Brian Crowne of George’s Majestic Lounge are serving as Honorary Co-Chairs of this event.
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will take you back in time with their irresistible live show, sampling from a fusion of classic American sounds from jazz, swing, Dixieland, big-band music, and their own songbook of original dance tunes. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has played in theaters and performing arts centers, selling out shows at the Hollywood Bowl, Walt Disney Hall, Lincoln Center, Chastain Park and Constitution Hall, just to name a few. The band’s career milestones have included appearances in the Super Bowl half-time show, writing theme music for ESPN and network television, and performing for three American presidents. They have appeared numerous times on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O’Brian and Live with Regis & Kelly.
During the 90-minute musical set, guests will dine on heavy Hors d'œuvres and spirits, reminiscent of the era. There will be a silent auction with three destination vacation packages available for bid and a raffle where the lucky winner will be going home in style with a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry.

09/29/09 - The 3rd Annual Corporate Golf Outing will be played this year on Friday, October 2nd at Shadow Valley Country Club. We're excited to have Cyndy Spencer as our Honorary Chair and Bryon Castleberry as our co-chair. Their leadership along with the support of CCF Brands and Heineken USA will make this year's event a huge success!
We are please to have the National Champion Long Driver Mike Dunaway leading a morning clinic for golfers as well as ESPN Announcer Jimmy Dykes as our luncheon keynote speaker at Eddie Haskell's in Rogers immediately following the golf outing. Also, we'll be having a Hole-In-One contest where you could win a Mercedes C-Class sponsored by Mercedes-Benz of NWA. It's going to be a very exciting day!
Space for this year's golf outing is limited to 25 teams and space is filling up quickly. Registration for a foursome is $1,250 and includes registration, morning clinic and complimentary instructional DVD by Mike Dunaway, Mercedes Hole-In-One contest for each player, a Closest to the Pin contest, Tee Buster, Celebrity Tee Shot with Jimmy Dykes, a mulligan for each player and burgers, brats and beer at Eddie Haskell's.
100% of your registration fee will go to support The Jones Center's daily operation and programs.
09/29/09 - On Sunday, October 11, 2009, The Jones Center in Springdale will host its first ever Autumn Open House. This is a free event designed to bring together all facets of our diverse community for a day of music and fun, while educating the public about what The Jones Center has to offer and who’s behind the scenes!
Among the days events will be a Big Smith concert, pumpkin carving, swimming, ice skating and more – all at no charge! The day will also feature the different departments of The Jones Center interacting with the public and ‘showcasing’ who they are and what their departments do. Along with all the fun happenings, we will have some of the representatives from Springdale High School’s Service Learning class on hand to help run the food drive that will benefit the NWA Food Bank.
The Jones Center is open from 1:00pm – 5:00pm that day, with the biggest part of the day’s events, including the concert, falling between 2:00pm and 5:00pm. Kum & Go will also be here with pumpkin spice latte samples and The Jones Center staff will be serving hot chocolate to keep folks warm during the concert!

In this fast paced position you will be responsible for creating a positive impression of The Jones Center and making guests feel welcome in our facility.
You must be able to adapt to guests needs and requests and think creatively to address their concerns. Excellent Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills are required.

08/05/09 - Beginning at 8:30am on Thursday, August 6th, The Jones Center staff, volunteers and sponsors will begin loading a bus that will be delivering back packs to area schools. We will spend the day delivering the 1,500 back packs to 10 elementary schools. Thanks to everyone who helped out with this wonderful event and our sponsors!
