LIFE provides recreational, educational, and social
opportunities for families and intergenerational relationships.
Family LIFE promotes and supports the Center’s
regional events including Spring Break Week, Jammin’
@ the Jones Center, Backpack Day, Fall Family Festival
and Jingle Jamboree.

HOST SITE FOR TACKLE LOANER PROGRAM
The Jones Center and Arkansas Game and Fish Commission are proud to offer Northwest Arkansas the Tackle Loaner Program. In 1993, the Commission started a program to loan fishing tackle to the public. Rod and reel combinations are placed in public libraries for individuals to check out, just as they would a library book. In 2001 this program was expanded by providing at some locations fly-tying equipment, which could also be checked out. Currently, over 20 libraries and community centers across the state participate in this program. If you are interested in checking out equipment from the Jones Center at no charge, please contact Heather Tandy at htandy@jcf.jonesnet.org or call 479/756-8090 ext 116. |
