 The
Charles N. McKinney LIFE Adventure Center (LAC)
is an experiential education and ropes course
complex located on 2.5 acres on the campus of
the Jones Center for Families in Springdale, Arkansas.

The LAC is owned and operated by Jones Center
for Families, Inc. for the sole purpose of fulfilling
the mission of the Jones Center, that is, “to
serve families, strengthen community, and glorify
God”.

The LAC is designed for people of all ages and
abilities.
The LAC is a “Challenge by Choice”
program where the individual is encouraged to
participate in the entire experience, but can
determine to engage in experiences of their choice.
Professionally trained and certified instructors
direct the participants through a variety of experiences
that will enhance one’s life both individually
and socially.
The LAC’s main objective is to “impact
lives for positive change.” Our primary
users are from non-profit agencies, schools, businesses
and family groups.
Scheduling will be conducted through the Community
LIFE Department of the Jones Center. Programs
will be specifically designed to meet the objective(s)
of those scheduling the LAC (Scheduling
Application). A small fee will be charged
on an individual, family, non-profit/education,
and business rate to meet the annual operating
expenses of the LAC.
 The
LAC complex currently consists of an open area
for ground-based, game type activities, 13 low
elements, 14 high elements, and a 33’ climbing/rappelling
tower. Out of the 14 high elements, eight team
elements are designed to challenge two participants
to work together to accomplish the element’s
objectives.
The Charles N. McKinney LIFE Adventure Center
is dedicated to providing safe, high quality,
experiential educational & ropes course programs,
that encourage individuals of all ages, who choose
to take advantage of the opportunities, with life
changing experiences that will last a life time.
